Heartland Polymers has successfully started up of its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant, which is now providing on-site feedstock for North America’s only integrated, single-site commercial polypropylene (PP) production. Heartland Polymers produced approximately 200 million pounds of polypropylene in 2022 after initial production began in July, followed by the PDH plant’s start-up in October 2022.

In other news, Zeta Polimeri has become a full member of RadiciGroup with its new name Radici EcoMaterials Srl. A little over three years have passed since RadiciGroup announced the acquisition of Zeta Polimeri, an Italian company headquartered in Buronzo (VC) with over 30 years’ experience in the recovery of pre- and post-consumer synthetic fibers and thermoplastic materials. Radici EcoMaterials occupies a position in RadiciGroup at the forefront of the recycling field, thanks to its cutting-edge technology that optimizes its high value-added sorting and recovery processes.
